George Mandrick

MANDRICK, GEORGE,  72,  Carrolltown, passed away January 18, 2021, at home.  Born August 29, 1948, in Spangler, the son of the late Michael and Alfreda (Ponchock) Mandrick.  Survived by loving wife of 47 years, Janet (Dumm) Mandrick; children, Karen Mandrick, Altoona; George Jr. (Tricia) Mandrick, Roxbury; Gary (Marin) Mandrick, Northern Cambria; Jessica (John) Hinchcliffe, Forest Hills, NY; Thomas Mandrick, Carrolltown; and eight grandchildren.  Brother of Michael Mandrick, Carrolltown; Judy Kannenberg, Ohio; and Eileen Saxon, VT.  US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War.  Retired factory worker from Season-All  and Gorrell Industries, Indiana.   In his spare time, George was a handyman who could fix anything.  He enjoyed working with his hands and helping his children.  He also had a life-long interest in cars and mechanical work.  Honoring George’s wishes, there will be no public viewing or visitation.  All services will be private for the Mandrick family.   Committal, St. Benedict Cemetery, Carrolltown.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, in charge of arrangements.
