Gerald D. Imler

IMLER, GERALD D., 81, Westover, formerly of Curryville, passed away June 6, 2020.  Born March 16, 1939, in Roaring Spring, the son of George R. and Marie (Wallace) Imler.  Preceded in death by parents; loving wife, Shirley L. (Feathers) Imler, who died May 1, 2001; grandson, Jacob Whiteford; sisters, Wilda, Belva, Sarah and Erma; brothers, Bernard, Warren, Dan, Bob and Herb; and daughter-in-law, Crystal Imler.  Survived by son, David Imler, Portage; daughter, Diane, wife of Ronald Whiteford, Westover; grandson, Kyler Whiteford, fiance of Katherine Batten-Kime; brother, Richard Imler; and sisters, Helen Eshelman, Esther Dibert, Dolores McConahy, Ann Hall, and Sheila Moore.  Retired Crane Operator for New Enterprise Stone & Lime.  Gerald also spent many years farming and milking for McCall Farms and was passionate about John Deere Tractors.  Family and friends will be received from 12 noon until time of service at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Interment, Leamersville Riverview Cemetery, East Freedom.
