Geraldine M. (Pierce) Lewis

LEWIS, GERALDINE M., 94, Westover, passed away June 29, 2025, at Haida Healthcare and Rehabititation Center, Hastings.  Born March 29, 1931, in Plottsville, the daughter of Phillip Calvin and Elizabeth Elise (Lloyd) Pierce.  She was baptized on July 28, 1949, a foundation of faith that remained with her throughout her life.  Preceded in death by parents, husband, Blair Lewis; daughter, Christine McCaulley; son-in-law, James McCaulley; and infant daughter, Brenda Lewis; siblings, Nora Louise Pierce; Peggy Loraine Pierce Lewis; and Loye Calvin Pierce.  Geraldine was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  Survived by son, Roger Lewis (fiancé, Nancy), Penn Run; five grandchildren, Brenda Anderson; Kristy Williams; Melissa Amsdell; Crystal McCaulley; Jerilyn Austin and seventeen great grandchildren.  A faithful member of the Church of Christ in Clearfield, Geraldine spent her working years as a skilled seamstress in local shoe and dress factories.  Her hands, never idle, brought beauty into the world not only through fabric but through her talent for crocheting, knitting, and creating statues from plaster molds.  Family and friends will be received from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  A funeral service will be held at Noon on Thursday, July 3, 2025, at the funeral home, with Pastor Raymond Steiner officiating.  Interment, East Ridge Cemetery.
