Glenn C. Himes

HIMES, GLENN C., 89, Northern Cambria, passed away January 11, 2021, at Miners Medical Center.  Born April 9, 1931, in Bradford, PA, the son of Cloyd and Pauline (Shovestull) Himes.  Preceded in death by parents; an infant brother; brother, Wayne and sister, Catherine.  Survived by devoted wife of 70 years, Gertrude (Gray) Himes; children, Glenn T. Himes, Indiana; Sally (Lee) Buck, Northern Cambria; Jeff Himes, Tioga; Ruth Ann McKenzie and Mark Himes, both of Northern Cambria; and grandchildren, Brad (Aletha) Buck, North Carolina; Stephen and Gwen Himes, both of Indiana;  and Emily Himes, Pittsburgh.  Retired belt foreman from Greenwich Collieries.  Glenn was also a welder and excellent mechanic, he enjoyed rebuilding antique tractors, especially Farmall.  In his free time, he loved being outdoors landscaping and mowing grass.  A member of Living Church of God.  Due to the current health concerns of COVID-19, there will be no public visitation or services.  Interment, Goodridge Cemetery.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc, in charge of arrangements.
