Gloria M. (Moore) Baker

BAKER, GLORIA M., 88, Carrolltown, passed away June 30, 2026.  Born May 2, 1938, in Burnside Twp., the last surviving member of the Edward and Dorothy (Krotendofer) Moore family.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Howard Baker, who died April 29, 2021; and brothers, Edward, David, and Ronald Moore.  Survived by children, Deborah (Raymond) Schrift, Portage; Wayne (Aida) Baker, Garrettsville, OH; and Denise Baker (Joe DeSalvo), Carrolltown.  Also 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.  Gloria worked many years as a cook at Lehmier’s Restaurant in Carrolltown where she was well known for the delicious pies that she made daily.   Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown.  She was a loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother, who adored her family.  Family and friends are invited to a funeral mass which will be celebrated 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 7, 2026, at St. Benedict Catholic Church, Fr.  Michael Gabler, OSB, celebrant.  Committal, St. Benedict Cemetery.
