Gwendolyn "Gwen" Ruth (Woods) Eagler

EAGLER, GWENDOLYN RUTH, “Gwen” 91, Northern Cambria, passed away March 19, 2026, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born October 1, 1934, the last surviving member of the Harold and Ruth Woods family.  Preceded in death by parents; 16 siblings; loving husband, Harold T. Eagler, who died October 18, 2006; son, Art Deckard; daughter, Kelly Eagler; grandchildren, Tara Deckard, Daniel Deckard, Bobbi Jo Westrick and Katelin Wagner; and sons-in-law, H. Paul Mulraney and Dave Hassen.  She also missed her beloved dog, Abigail, who was her constant companion for many years.  Gwen is survived by these children: Thelda Mulraney, Terry (Jacqueline) Deckard, Gary (Sandy) Eagler, Ruth Anne (Anthony) Bonanno, Tammy (Joe) Pozzini, Donald (Debbie) Eagler, Melissa Hassen; daughter-in-law, Theresa Deckard; and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren who she loved very much.  Gwen adored her family and was most proud of all her grandchildren.  In her earlier years, she worked as a seamstress at the shirt factory. She also sewed and did alterations out of her home for many years.  She enjoyed crafting and shared many of her beautiful works with family and friends.  Family and friends will be received from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m., Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.
