BAKER, HAROLD B., 80, Pickerington, OH, formerly of Emeigh, PA, passed away June 18, 2024, at Bridge Hospice, Findlay, Ohio. Born June 27, 1943, in Spangler, PA, the son of Harry Baker and Iva (Mock) Baker Puleo. Preceded in death by parents; grandparents, Vallie and Myrtle (Neff) Baker, who raised him in their home in Emeigh; brother-in-law, Allen Huber; and uncle, Ronald Baker and his wife Delories. He is survived by loving wife of 61 years, Patricia “Pat” (Keith) Baker; daughter, Michele (Pete) Bishop, Mt Vernon, OH; and son, Bruce (Pat) Baker, Findlay, OH. Harold assisted in raising his grandchildren, Nikki (John), Los Angeles, CA and Jesse (Emily), Columbus, OH. Also survived by step-grandson, Dustin Julien, Findlay, OH; step-great-granddaughter, Anna Julien, Bowling Green, OH; sister, Vesta Huber, Hastings, PA; and numerous nieces and nephews. Following his graduation from Northern Cambria High School, in Spangler, he completed an apprenticeship as a Model maker-non metal with the U.S. Navy at David Taylor Model Basin in Carderock, MD. He was employed for many years as a model maker and worked for General Motors Styling, Chrysler Styling, and Burroughs Corporation. He also owned his own company, Complete Technical Services. The last thirty plus years he worked in insurance and investment services. He was a registered representative with the NASD (now FINRA) and worked for Prudential, Banc One Securities (now Chase Investment Services), BMO Harris Investment Services and CBT Bank. He retired as a Vice President and Program Manager for Retail Insurance and Investment Services for CBT Bank, Clearfield, PA. He enjoyed travel with his wife Pat, and together they visited two countries and 45 of the 50 states. He was an avid woodworker and liked to spend time doing yardwork. Harold was strong in his faith and dedicated his life to Christ, his Lord and Savior. He rarely missed attending services Tri-County Church “On The Hill” Campus, DuBois, PA. Interment will be in East Ridge Cemetery, Westover, PA. Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
