Helen (Barnosky) Stein

STEIN, HELEN, 75 of Emeigh, passed away July 8, 2025, at home.  Born September 29, 1949, in Spangler, the daughter of John and Grace (Layton) Barnosky.  Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, Walter H. Stein; brothers, John and Peter Barnosky; and sister, Wanda Stein.  Survived by children, Patricia (Bryan) Varner, Northern Cambria; Walter Stein, Northern Cambria; Robert (Charlee “CJ”) Stein, Carrolltown; and Trista Stein (Ronald Shaffer), Patton; eleven grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.  Sister of Billy Barnosky, Diane Wesche, and George Barnosky.  Also survived by companion, Don Leamer.   Member of Garman Church of God.  Family and friends will be received at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria on Friday, July 11, 2025, from 6:00 pm until service at 8:00 p.m.  Pastor Rick Gamble officiating.
