Irene M. Petrisko

PETRISKO, IRENE M., 89, Northern Cambria, passed away January 18, 2023, at home surrounded by her loving family.  Born September 3, 1933, in Hawk Run, the daughter of Michael and Anne (Rusnak) Francisco.  Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, Andrew Petrisko Jr., who died July 26, 2021; daughter, Karen Snyder; grandson, Curtis Moore; brothers, Martin, Michael, Steve, Louie, and Joseph Francisco; and sisters, Annie, Pauline, Mildred, Julia, Mary, and Bertha.  Survived by children, Diane (Gary) Talerico, Hastings; Sharon (John) Moore, Northern Cambria; Greg Petrisko, Northern Cambria; grandchildren, Nicole (Eric) Bougher, Kelley (Shawn) Dumm, Christopher (Kaitlyn) Moore, Matt Petrisko, Meadow Lightcap, Alyssa (Craig) Olear, Ian Burkey, Autumn Snyder; and great-grandchildren, Carter, Brayden, Ella, Nicholas, Hannah, and Ayden.  Sister of Dorothy Bakaysa and Ed Francisco.  Formerly employed as a Cook for the Northern Cambria School District.  Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church.  Irene enjoyed baking and puzzle books, spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her best friend, “Taco”.  Family and friends will be received from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Sunday, January 22, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 23, at Prince of Peace Church.  Fr. Mark Groeger officiating.  Committal, Holy Cross Cemetery. Irene’s family wishes to thank Ruth Bonanno for her caring help during their mother’s illness.
