Isabell (Pierce) Laney

LANEY, ISABELL, 88, Cherry Tree, passed away November 3, 2023, at Beacon Ridge Manor, Indiana.  Born April 22, 1935, in Burnside Twp., the daughter of John Alvin and Zelda (Deyarmin) Pierce.  Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, Lindy Laney, who died June 13, 1980; an infant brother, and siblings, Catherine, Pauline, Samuel, and Ralph.  Survived by her devoted daughter, Robin Laney; and sisters, Dorothy (Kenneth) Stiles and Julia (Rudell) Meese, all of Cherry Tree.  Affectionately known as “Aunt Bell” to her nieces and nephews.  Retired from Carol Ann Fashions after working 38 years as a seamstress.  Member of Mentcle Wesleyan Methodist Church.  Family and friends will be received from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday.  Pastor Alice Haight officiating.  Committal, McDowell Cemetery.
