James C. DeLarre

DeLARRE, JAMES C., 61, Bakerton, passed away July 29, 2024, at home.   Born June 24, 1963, in Spangler, son of Edward and Mary Alice (Reffner) DeLarre.  Preceded in death by parents and 10 siblings.  Survived by sons, James C. Jr. (Amanda) DeLarre, Revloc and Michael DeLarre, Nanty Glo; grandchildren, Caden, Dameon, Domonic, and Allison.  Also survived by 5 siblings.  Jim had a close relationship with his niece, Ann Selby and great-nephew, Aaron DeLarre, who also survive him.  He also loved animals, especially his dogs—Tucker, Jenny, and Julie who were his faithful companions.   Jim was a proud US Navy Veteran.  He enjoyed sports and spent many years serving as an umpire in youth baseball and softball.  Family and friends will be received from 9:00 a.m. until time of service at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 6, 2024, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc. Northern Cambria, Pastor Don Ferguson officiating.  Graveside Military honors will be conducted following services at Sacred Heart Cemetery, Bakerton.­
