FRONTINO, JAMES R., 82, Nicktown, passed away February 5, 2025. Born October 31, 1942, in Spangler, the son of Frank and Domenica “Minnie” (Pizzino) Frontino. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Adeline Bucceri; and brothers, Joseph and John Frontino. Survived by his wife, Josephine (Dombrowski); daughters, Antoinette “Toni” Frontino, Indiana; Maria (William) Evans, Virginia; and Lori (Mike) Hollen, Colorado; grandchildren, Marissa Evans (Brandon), Brittany Evans, Chad Walter, Lindsay (Bryan) Kyper. Also survived by two great-grandchildren. Brother of Frank Frontino, Northern Cambria and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was a dedicated educator and reading specialist who retired from the Forest Hills School District after 30 years. Member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown. Family and friends will be received Thursday, February 13, 2025, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, February 14, 2025, at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Fr. Jeremiah Lange, OSB, PhD, celebrant. Committal, St. Nicholas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jim’s memory to Arbutus Park Manor, Johnstown.
