James A. Pershing

PERSHING, JAMES A., 55, Northern Cambria, passed away October 21, 2020, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born March 2, 1965, in Spangler, the son of Leroy and Iris (Rice) Pershing of Northern Cambira.  Preceded in death by loving wife, Brenda (Boring) Pershing.  Survived by children, James (Amanda) Pershing; Jackie Pershing (Yunk Pierce); Scott Pershing; step-son, Richard Goss (Ashley Good), all of Northern Cambria; seven grandchildren.  Also survived by fiancé, Angel Mallin.   Brother of Maralee Kerfonta, Leroy “Buddy” Pershing and John Pershing, all of Northern Cambria; and Candi Kolesar, West Decatur. Owner of Pershing Auto.  Social member of American Legion and VFW’s of Barnesboro and Spangler; Slovak Club, YM Polish Legion, Bakerton Rod & Gun Club and Athletic Club, and Moss Creek Rod & Gun Club.  Friends will be received from 1 p.m. Monday until time of service at 4:00 p.m.  Pastor Greg McDonald officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist the family.
