Jody L. Boring

BORING, JODY L., 57, Patton, passed away March 8, 2024, at HAIDA Health Care Center, Hastings.  Born November 9, 1966, in Spangler, the daughter of Bud Nicholas and Nellie Mae Crawford.  Preceded in death by father, who died in 2014; husband, Jerry E. Boring, who died in 2018; grandmother, Sarah “Tillie” Gray; and sister, Bella Schlereth.  Survived by son, Jerry (Katrina) Boring, Ebensburg; daughters, Crystal Boring, and Kelsie Boring, Patton; and six grandchildren.  Also survived by siblings, Ron Crawford, Michigan; Bob Crawford, Georgia; Tom (Cindy) Crawford, Carrie Crawford and Sarah Harp, all of Michigan; and Regina Nemergut, Pittsburgh.  Jody was formerly employed as an aid at the Ebensburg Center; and a cook at the Patton Pub for several years. Jody was a devoted mother to her children and loved spending time with her grandchildren.  No visitation or services at her request.  The family will host a celebration honoring Jody’s life in the near future.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
