DOMALIK, JOHN B., 89, Northern Cambria, passed away November 28, 2020. Born January 25, 1931, in Hastings, the son of Francis and Helen (Kenchesky) Domalik. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Francis “Ducky” Domalik; sister, Cecelia “Teak” Kline; and son-in-law, Daniel Hickok. Survived by loving wife, Doris Jean (Frank) Domalik; daughters, Melissa (John) Ashurst, Denise Hickok and Diane Jodon; grandchildren, Lauren (Cody) Bytner, Brandon, John (Megan), Stephen (Candis) & Adam Ashurst (Amber Warner), Michelle Sodmont (James Orosz), Kristin Hickok and Kimberly Penrod; and great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Adam Simmers), Daniel & Isaac Sodmont; Michael & Jocelyn Penrod; Dakota Ashurst, Lily Dumm, Liam Warner and great-great-grandchildren, Kloe & Karter Simmers. Also survived by brothers, Joseph, Walter and Stanley (Barbara) Domalik; brother-in-law, William Kline and numerous nieces and nephews. US Army Veteran of the Korean War and member of Barnesboro VFW Post 343 where he served as a former Post Commander. Life member and Trustee of the Civil Defense Sportsman’s Club. Retired coal miner from Barnes & Tucker Coal Co. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Honoring John’s wishes there will be no viewing or visitation. Private services will be held for the Domalik family. Interment St. Bernard Cemetery, Hastings. Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
