John Fisanick Obituary

FISANICK, JOHN, 81, Northern Cambria, passed away July 4, 2020, at UPMC Altoona Hospital. Born May 27, 1939, in Susquehanna Twp., the son of Steve and Mary (Zagata) Fisanick. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Virginia Pavia and Elizabeth Kimball; and brother, George Fisanick. Survived by loving wife of 56 years, Joan R. (Gobrecht) Fisanick; daughter, Tamara, wife of Robert Buterbaugh; grandson, Hunter Reece Buterbaugh, goddaughter, Patricia Gillette, all of Northern Cambria; and brothers, Steve Fisanick, Patton; and Michael Fisanick, Alabama. US Army Veteran. Retired coalminer. Also worked many years in the flooring industry, finishing and installing wood floors; and as a school bus driver for Westwood Bus Lines. No viewing, visitation or services at the request of the deceased. Private interment at the convenience of the Fisanick family. Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc, Northern Cambria, in charge of arrangements. At the family's request no flowers to be sent.
