WOJCIK, JOHN A., 100, Northern Cambria, passed peacefully in the presence of his family November 1, 2025, at Celebration Villa of Altoona. Born August 13, 1925, in Spangler, the son of John and Sophie (Wojdylo) Wojcik. Preceded in death by parents; loving wife, Joyce Theresa (Kline) Wojcik, who died January 16, 2015; son, David Wojcik; brothers, Joseph, Anthony and Stanley; and sisters, Helen, Edna, Cecilia, Mary and Ann. Survived by daughter, Diane (Dennis) VanAllman, Duncansville; son, John C. (Leslie) Wojcik, Clymer; granddaughters, Daria VanAllman and Meghan (Joe) Perrone; and great-grandchildren, Reese and Rylinn Perrone. U.S. Army Veteran. Member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown, former member of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church. John was the owner and operator of Wojcik’s Jewelers where he worked for 75 years. John remained active throughout his life and spent many hours at Cambrian Hills Country Club golfing with his many friends. Family and friends will be received at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 9:00 – 11:00 a.m. Military honors will be held at the funeral home at 10:45 a.m. Funeral Mass will follow at 12 noon at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown.
