Joseph P. Depto Jr. a.k.a. Deptol

DEPTO, JOSEPH P. JR., 84, Northern Cambria, passed away August 7, 2020, at Indiana Hospital.  Born May 27, 1936, in Patton, the son of Joseph P. Sr. and Mary (Grozanick) Depto.  Preceded in death by parents; loving wife, Ruby E. (Deyarmin) Depto, who died June 4, 2011; and sister, Carol Ellerbee.   Survived by daughter, Sharon, wife of Kenneth Lamont, Northern Cambria; and son, Mark Depto.  Brother of Theodore Depto, Patton; Ronald Depto, Northern Cambria; Barbara Duffy, Hollidaysburg; twin sister, Marilyn Dye, McDonald, OH; and Kenneth Depto, Englewood, MD.  Served three years in the National Guard attaining the rank of Corporal.  Formerly employed as a school bus driver for Tri-County Transportation, an EMT at Mear Coal Co., a worker for Skills Group; and a long-time groundskeeper for Barnesboro Cemetery Assoc.  Friends will be received from 3:00 p.m.  until time of service at 6:00 p.m. Tuesday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Interment North Barnesboro Cemetery.
