Joseph Gary Gerath

GERATH, JOSEPH G., 82, Lilly, passed away October 16, 2025, at home.  Born November 26, 1942, in Annapolis, MD, the son of Joseph and Dorothy (Smith) Gerath.  Preceded in death by parents.  Survived by loving wife, Dulce (DeAlmeida) Gerath; stepchildren, Iva Grycuk, Larrissa Garcia, Debora Watkins, Destiny Ann Brown; and four grandchildren.  Joseph studied engineering at Johns Hopkins Medical Center and dedicated many years of his career to Westinghouse.  He loved sailing and was a member of the sail race team in Annapolis. He was passionate about airplanes and was very knowledgeable about the history of planes.  Joe enjoyed scuba diving and skiing.  A member of Crossroads Alliance Church and part of the Tres Dias community.  A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 25, 2025, at Crossroads Alliance Church, Pastor Kevin Stock officiating.
