Joyce Ann (Hamady) Dolges

DOLGES, JOYCE ANN, 66 of Hastings PA passed away peacefully on December 5, 2023, at home.  Born July 8, 1957, in Spangler, the daughter of George and Elsie (Bublinec) Hamady.  Preceded in death by parents George who passed away December 11, 2005, and mother Elsie who recently passed on October 24, 2023.  Survived by husband, Ronald whom she married September 6, 1975, daughter Deanna, Indiana; and sister, Georgette Hamady-Clinger, married to Samuel R. Clinger, Windber.  Also survived by mother-in-law and father-in-law, Robert and Elizabeth Dolges; sisters-in-law, Sandra (Scott) Rake, Diane (David) Kudlawiec; Michelle (Joseph) Firment; Margaret (Thomas) Ritchey; Nancy (George) Bonneau; brothers-in-law, Thomas (fiancée Pam) Dolges; Michael (Michelle Barczak) Dolges; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.  She was a 1975 graduate of Northern Cambria High School.  Formerly employed by Giant Eagle in Northern Cambria.  Member of St. Mary’s Ukrainian Catholic Church, Northern Cambria and UFCW Local 1776.  Joyce was a kind and loving soul who enjoyed getting together with family, speaking her mind, and living a peaceful life.  She was an avid reader and loved all animals and was a supporter of numerous charities.  She had a long struggle, but now she’s free of suffering and her soul can be at peace with our Lord and her family waiting to greet her.  Heartfelt thank you to Conemaugh Regional Hospice (truly angels on Earth), and all the kind and compassionate people who assisted Joyce on this journey.  We can be at peace now knowing you are home with God and your loved ones.  You will be missed greatly, please watch over us.  At the request of the deceased, there will be no public viewing.  Family and friends are invited to a funeral mass which will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 8, 2023, at St. Mary’s Ukrainian, Northern Cambria.  Fr. Andriy Kelt officiating.  Committal, St. John Byzantine Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Joyce’s memory to Conemaugh Regional Hospice or your local animal shelter.
