Joyce A. (Kordish) McDonald

McDONALD, JOYCE A., 76, Johnstown, formerly of Northern Cambria, passed away June 17, 2021, at Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born March 29, 1945, in Hastings, the daughter of Steve and Bertha (Bott) Kordish.  Preceded in death by parents; loving husband William “Bill” McDonald Sr.; son William McDonald Jr.; brothers, Robert, Steve and Bernard Kordish; sister, Barbara Kordish and son-in-law, Collin Galentine.  Survived by children, Greg (Ashley) McDonald, Northern Cambria; Michelle Galentine, Johnstown; and Michael (Georgia) McDonald, Northern Cambria; grandchildren, Justin, Gregory, Tracey, Matthew, Bethany, Colin Jr., Mark, and Mahlon; and 19 great-grandchildren.  Sister of Mary DaBella, IL; Patrick Kordish, Blacklick; David Kordish, Nanty Glo; Joseph Kordish, Carrolltown; Ronald Kordish, Patton; Betty Weakland, Patton; Ruth Thurman, Patton; Bernadette Brush, Cresson; Theresa Zanoni, Hastings; and Debra Kordish, Cresson.  Previous member of the Royal Rangers.  Joyce loved her family and being around people.  She enjoyed baking and making candy.  Family will receive friends at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria Wednesday, June 23, from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:30 p.m.  Pastor Milton Nichols officiating.  Committal, McDowell Cemetery.  The family wishes to thank her caregivers Denise Miller and Jessica McDowell for their wonderful care and companionship.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home.
