Kenneth E. Anderson

ANDERSON, KENNETH E. “Ken”, 75, Northern Cambria, passed away August 29, 2023, at UPMC Shadyside Hospital, Pittsburgh.  Born May 18,1948, in Spangler, the son of the late Kenneth and Helen (Gisler) Anderson.  Survived by loving wife of 53 years, Frances (Wagner) Anderson; daughters, Kelly, wife of William Nusom and Stacey, wife of Dean Creighton; and granddaughters, Jennah, Carley and Linzi, all of Altoona.  Also survived by sister, Diane, wife of Frank “Dube” Corio, Cherry Tree.   Formerly employed by Greenwich Collieries and PA State Liquor Control Board.  Ken proudly served in the US Marine Corps and was a member Carrolltown American Legion Post 506.  He was an avid golfer and member of Cambrian Hills Country Club and Scotch Valley Country Club.  In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and trips to the casinos.   Friends will be received from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m. Saturday, September 2, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where military honors will be conducted at 4:00 p.m.  Interment, North Barnesboro Cemetery.
