Kyle Andrew Senko

SENKO, KYLE ANDREW, 53, Carrolltown, passed away suddenly while on a family vacation on February 29, 2024, at Gunnison Valley Health Hospital, Colorado.  Born December 21, 1970, the son of Andrew “Abe” and Rita (Solley) Senko.  Preceded in death by parents, and sister, Kathy Smith.  Survived by loving wife of 20 years, Danielle M. (Gwizdak) Senko; and sons, Joseph and Matthew Senko; and daughter, Elizabeth Senko, all of Carrolltown; brother, Andrew (Barbara) Senko, ME; and sisters, Konnie (Joseph) Anna, Hastings; and Karen (Daniel) Anna, Patton.  Also survived by father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kenneth and Deborah (Yeckley) Gwizdak, Carrolltown; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Kristy (Gwidzak) and David Gonos, Colver; and  numerous nieces and nephews; and family friend, Laura Sorge, who was on vacation with them and has been a pillar of strength for the family through this difficult time.  Kyle was employed as a Market Manager for Black & Veatch.  Member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, where he taught religious education on Sundays.  Kyle loved the outdoors and being active with his family.  He enjoyed annual fishing trips to Erie, camping with his wife and children, golfing with Danielle--his favorite partner, and spending time with his many friends in the pool leagues, but his passion was Skiing.  He was happiest on the slopes with his wife and children enjoying time together in the beauty of the mountains.  He was an active member of P.S.I.A (Professional Ski Instructors of America) and worked as a Ski Instructor at Seven Springs for many years. Family and friends will be received from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday, March 15, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, March 16, at St. Augustine Church.  Fr. Robert Reese officiating.  Committal, Church Cemetery.
