WAGNER, LARRY “BUD”, 84, Westover, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 31, at HAIDA Manor, following an extended illness. Born July 20, 1939, in Spangler, the son of Larry and Grace (Sybert) Wagner. Preceded in death by parents and granddaughter, Katelin “Katie” Wagner. Survived by loving wife of 62 years, Carolyn (Nagle) Wagner; daughter, Diane (Ed) Shankle; son, Scott Wagner; grandchildren, Brandi Bonatesta (Greg Hassen), Brittney (Ryan) Keith, Alexis Wagner, Macie Wagner, and Allie Gray; and great-grandchildren, Joseph Bonatesta, Briella Hassen, Ryker Keith, and Boden Keith. Also survived by a brother, Steven (Deb) Wagner; loving niece and nephews; and special friends, Lisa and Daryl Leap, Tonya Fry and Erin Gray. Bud enjoyed family gatherings, being in the outdoors, and hunting—especially turkey. He was a member of the Freemasons and member of Westover United Methodist Church. Retired from Hastings Machine Shop. Family and friends will be received Friday, November 3, 2023, from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where a funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday. Interment, St. Bernard Cemetery, Hastings. The Wagner family wishes to thank Jeannie Frontino for the excellent care she provided to Bud during his extended illness.
