DIBERT, LAWRENCE W. JR., “Bill”, 90, Dysart, passed away September 8, 2025, at home. Born August 1, 1935, in Altoona, the son of Lawrence Sr. and Isalbelle Elizabeth (Conzo) Dibert. Preceded in death by parents; second wife, Patricia (Modico) Dibert, who died in 2019; brothers, James and Daniel Dibert; brothers-in-law, “Jug” Wagner and Wes Van Scoyoc; and sister-in-law, Judy Dibert. Survived by children, Pamela Dibert-Shelby, Cresson; Scott (Sherry) Dibert, Cresson; and Michelle “Misty” (Christopher) Sullivan, Cincinnati, OH; five grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Brother of Helen “Sis” (Harold) Dixon, Lancaster; Donald (Theola) Dibert, Altoona; Linda Wagner, and Debbie Van Scoyoc, both of Flinton. He is also survived by Betty Wilkinson, who he thought of as another daughter, as she helped him as his caregiver and friend. Bill worked as a coal miner alongside many of his family in the Dibert Mines. He was a man of great faith and a founding member of Richland Bible Church in Dysart, where he served as a Deacon and Church Elder. He was also a retired minister, sharing God’s word and helping many throughout the years. In his spare time, he loved gardening and working on cars, but the time he spent with his family was the most important thing to him. Family and friends will be received at Richland Bible Church on Friday, September 12, 2025, from 1:00 p.m. with services to begin at 2:00 p.m. Pastor Dave Shaffer officiating.
