Leo H. Miller

MILLER, LEO H., 81, Hastings, passed away November 24, 2023, at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, Johnstown, surrounded by his loving family.  Born March 24, 1942, in Colver, the son of Simon and Catherine (Campbell) Miller.  Preceded in death by parents; brothers, James, Duane, Donald, Joseph, Lee, Robert, Clarence, Clair, John, and Patrick Miller; sisters, Mary Elizabeth Linden, Catherine Yuhas, Oliverne Wojno, Margaret Cymbor; and half-brother, Donald Miller.  Survived by loving wife of 59 Years, Joann (Majoras) Miller; son, Leo Miller, Hastings; grandchildren, Emily Miller, Roanoke, VA; and Lee Miller, Hastings.  Also survived by half-siblings, Penny Knight, Denny Miller, Sally Greaney, and Bob Miller and numerous nieces and nephews.  Member of St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings.  Formerly employed by Barnes & Tucker Co. and later as a Groundhand and member of IBEW Local 126.  Leo was a hard-working man, devoted to his family.  He adored his grandchildren and spending time with them. He will be sadly missed by his faithful dogs who were his constant companions.  In his free time, he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting, fishing, and searching for antiques.  Honoring his request there will be no viewing or services.  Donations may be made in Leo’s memory to St. Bernard Catholic Church, Hastings.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc.
