KOTRICK, LOUISE S., 84, Northern Cambria, passed away September 22, 2024, at HAIDA Health & Rehabilitation Center, Hastings.  Born June 20, 1940, in Barnesboro, the daughter of John and Catherine (Haligowski) Gerlesky.  Preceded in death by parents; infant son, Christopher; and siblings, John Klemack, Helen, Klemack, Virginia Cassiere, Blanche Mazzella, Ann Hrubochak, Joseph Gerlesky, Edward Gerlesky, Frank Gerlesky, Genevieve O’Lear, and Paul Gerlesky.  Survived by loving husband of 61 years, Alexander Kotrick; daughter, Anita Kotrick (Mark Burack), Walkersville, MD; sons, Greg (Susan) Kotrick, Hilton Head, SC; Brian (Sabrina) Kotrick, Northern Cambria; grandchildren, Dylan, Lexi, and Jessica Kotrick and brother Walter Gerlesky (Jane Massey), Summerfield, FL.  Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church (former St. Stanislaus), where she sang with the church choir, served on several committees and as a eucharistic minister.  Louise enjoyed working in banking before becoming self-employed, making special occasion cakes for many years.   She loved polka dancing, lady bugs, hummingbirds and her Bichon Frise “puppies”, Chip, Luke and Levi.     Viewing for family and friends will be held Thursday, September 26, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc. from 8:30-9:30 a.m. followed by a funeral mass which will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at Prince of Peace Catholic Church.  Fr. Mark Groeger officiating.  Committal, St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
