Lovelle (Lantzy) Krug

KRUG, LOVELLE, 95, Nicktown, passed away January 29, 2023, at home.  Born March 18, 1927, in Barr Twp., the last surviving child of the Valentine and Margaret (Olsen) Lantzy family.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Vernon F. Krug, who died August 20, 2011; brothers, Bill, Jerry, Art, Clifford and Leo Lantzy, and sisters, Caroline Schoppert, and Leona Weiss.  Survived by daughter, Allyn “Lin” McCombie, Nicktown; Kurt (Sandra) Krug, Northern Cambria; and Karl Krug, New York; 12 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.  Retired Teacher’s Aide working many years in the catholic school system.  She also worked as a beautician.  Member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church.  Honoring Lovelle’s request there will be no viewing.  Family and friends are invited to a Funeral Mass which will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Thursday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church.  Fr.
