Lucille F. (Davis) Smith

SMITH, LUCILLE F., 80, Nicktown, passed away October 31, 2021, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.  Born March 15, 1941, in Colver, the daughter of Calvin and Gladys (Youngkin) Davis.  Preceded in death by parents; brothers; Edgar, Don, and Sherwood Davis; and sister, Joann Hudak.  Survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Irvin Smith; sons, Jeff Smith, Nicktown; Mark (Pamela) Smith, Loretto; Kerry (Rose) Smith, Nicktown; daughters, Brenda Smith, Cleona; and Lori Smith, Nicktown; grandchildren, Benjamin (Kayleigh) Smith; Patrick (Becky) Smith; Chad Smith; Jacob (Janelle) Mannion; Joshua Smith; Christopher Smith; Victoria Smith; Timothy Smith; and Briana Smith.  Also survived by siblings, Dale,  Maryland; William and Roy both of Colver; Gloria, Latrobe; and Sharon, Michigan.  Lifetime Member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown, Altar & Rosary Society and Legion of Mary.  Lucille was known for her quilts, crocheted doilies, and afghans. She enjoyed playing bingo.  She loved all her children and grandchildren and enjoyed having everyone around.  She had a special bond with her niece Brittany, and our family is beyond grateful for the devotion and care Brittany gave to our mother.   Family and friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Sunday, November 7, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Nicholas Church.  Fr. Jeremiah Lange, OSB, PhD celebrant.  Committal, St. Nicholas Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the funeral home to cover funeral expenses.
