Mabel M. (Gibbons) Klingensmith

KLINGENSMITH, MABEL M., 87, Penn Run, passed away November 21, 2023, at home.  Born May 10, 1936, in Green Twp., the daughter of Ernest and Juna (Miller) Gibbons.  Preceded in death by parents; brothers, Sam, David, Leroy, Bill; sisters, Bert, Shirley, Hazel, and Martha; sons-in-law, Roger Smith, Harry Riddell, and Frenchie Pierce.  Survived by daughters, Carol Smith, Dixonville; Elsie Riddell, Penn Run; Connie Klingensmith, Northern Cambria; Joyce Pierce, Windber; sons, James Klingensmith, Heilwood; Troy Klingensmith, Altoona; and Edward Klingensmith, New Alexandria.  Also, her “children whom she raised”, Richard Klingensmith, Clymer; Curly Riddell, Johnstown; Richelle Klingensmith, Dixonville; and Edward Klingensmith, Johnstown.  Also survived by numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Sister of Richard “Dick” Gibbons, NJ.   Retired residential support aid for Ebensburg Center State School.  Family and friends will be received from 6:00 to 7:00 pm, Friday, November 24, 2023, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc, 1303 Bigler Ave., Northern Cambria.
