ELIAS, MAGDALENE (RIZK) “Madge”, 81, Northern Cambria, passed away May 30, 2022. Born February 20, 1941, in Abdelli, Lebanon, the daughter of Wadih Rizk and Naziha Nassif Hanna. Preceded in death by parents, and sisters, Josephine, Helene, and Pauline; and brother, Chahine. Survived by loving husband of 53 years, Michael T. Elias; sons, Dr. Brian (Laurie) Elias, Glen Rock; Dr. Jeffrey Elias, State College; Dr. Robine Elias, Northern Cambria; daughter, Mary (Ross) Pelusi, Orlando; and grandchildren, Brian, Caleb, Matthew, Juliet, Alyssa, and Alexa; Jeffrey and Mariella; and Myra. Also survived by brothers, Robine and Elie; and sisters, Rachide and Caroline. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Madge was an avid bingo player and supporter of local fire companies, churches, and schools. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting in her free time, and in the summers, she spent time outdoors in her gardens producing roses she was most proud of. Madge was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who was happiest taking care of her husband and family. Cooking family meals and preparing holiday celebrations were traditions she enjoyed sharing with her children and grandchildren. Friends will be received from 5 – 8 p.m. Thursday, June 2, 2022, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, June 3, 2022, at Prince of Peace Church, 811 Chestnut Ave., Northern Cambria. Committal St. John’s Roman Catholic Cemetery, Northern Cambria.
