Marie E. (Cook) Gauntner

GAUNTNER, MARIE E., 90, Northern Cambria, passed away August 10, 2020.  Born July 2, 1930, in Bakerton, the daughter of Frank and Mary (Shortencarrier) Cook.  Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, James E. Gauntner, who died April 11, 2017; brother, Frank Cook; and son-in-law, Edward Greenaway.  Survived by children, Sandra (Robert) Sewalish, Northern Cambria; Linda Greenaway, Northern Cambria; David (Margaret) Gauntner, Elmora; Daniel (Denise) Gauntner, Northern Cambria; Diane (Charles) Woodley, Virginia; 12 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.  Formerly employed as a teacher’s aide for IU8 services.  Friends will be received from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Friday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria where a funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday.  Interment, St. Benedict Cemetery.
