Obituary
BOLINGER, MARINA S., 50, Nicktown, passed away May 15, 2023. Born July 19, 1972, in Jacksonville, FL, the daughter of Steve and Monika (Kruck) Pounders. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother, of Edinboro; fiancé, Robby Alabran, Nicktown; son, August Bolinger, Oakdale, PA; and sisters, Mary Lanier and Lisa Smith, both of Edinboro, PA. Marina earned a master’s degree in behavioral psychology, and was employed as a behavior specialist for Achieving True Self, Irwin, PA. She was an animal lover and supporter of the Humane Society. Family and friends will be received Saturday, June 17, 2023, beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Salem Lutheran Church PO Box 87, 26 Clarion Street, Smicksburg, PA 16256, where a memorial service will begin at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Joyce A. Dix-Weirers, STS officiating. Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements. Interment will follow in church cemetery.
