PAWLOWSKI, MARION, 95, Nicktown, passed away September 30, 2023. Born December 31, 1927, in Spangler, the son of Blair and Emilia (Zrodlowska) Pawlowski. Preceded in death by parents; loving wife of 66 years, Arlene Pawlowski, and brother, Reginald Pawlowski. Survived by children, Michael (Wilma) Pawlowski, Sarver; Sally Pawlowski, Beaufort, NC; Daniel (Darlene) Pawlowski, Dunedin, FL; Ronald (Alison) Pawlowski, West Roxbury, MA; and Randall (Brenda) Pawlowski, Nicktown; grandchildren, Alexa (Luke) Kline, Randall Jr., David (Hannah), Nicholas, Joshua, Matthew, and Dylan; and great-grandchildren, Sophia, Emilia, Henry, Thomas, and Peter. Also survived by siblings, Wanda Pawlowski, Edwin (Rosemary) Pawlowski, and Blair Pawlowski. Marion enlisted in the US Army and served with occupation forces in Japan for 18 months. Upon returning home from the service, he took over the family beer distributor business, which was operated by his mother. He continued running the distributor for 40 years, until his retirement when he sold the business. Member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Nicktown. Honoring Marion’s request there will be no viewing or visitation. Family and friends are invited to a memorial mass which will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 6, 2023, at St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church. Fr. Jeremiah Lange, OSB, PhD, celebrant. Committal, St. Nicholas Cemetery. Military honors by local veteran’s organizations. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Marion’s memory to St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church.
