Martha T. (Smith) Weaver

WEAVER, MARTHA T., 92, Nicktown, passed away January 10, 2024, at Haida Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Hastings.  Born December 18, 1931, in Birmingham, the daughter of Martin and Agnes (Dumm) Smith.  Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, Urban Valentine Weaver, who died August 6, 1992; and sister, Janet Lieb.  Survived by son, Dennis Martin (Lana) Weaver, Northern Cambria; daughters, Juliann (Michael) Dumm, Nicktown; and Jaculin Ann (Donald) Zimmerman, Drifting; grandchildren, Natalie (Chad) Ryan; Jake (Erin) Dumm; Josh Zimmerman; Nick (Stephanie) Zimmerman; and Amanda (Matthew) Kelly and seven great-grandchildren.  Also survived by sister, Margie Kirsch, Nicktown, and numerous nieces and nephews.  Life member of St. Nicholas Roman Catholic Church, Nicktown.  Member of Catholic daughters of the Americas.  Member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary, Northern Cambria.  Retired EKG Technician from Miners Hospital with 23 years of service. Martha enjoyed spending time with her friends at the Northern Cambria Senior Citizens Center and playing cards and bingo.  Family and friends will be received from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m., January 12, 2024, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m., Saturday, January 13, 2024.  Fr. Jeremiah Lange, OSB, PhD, celebrant.  Committal, St. Nicholas Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Nicholas Catholic School or Northern Cambria Senior Center.
