Mary Bobby

BOBBY, MARY  99, Northern Cambria, passed away September 19, 2020, at home surrounded by her adoring family.  Born February 12, 1921, the daughter of Michael and Mary Skuban.  Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, Peter Bobby Jr., who died May 6, 2006; daughter, Joanne Bobby; brothers, Michael Kalman and Andrew Skuban; and sisters, Margaret Petras, Helen Geary and Ann Sikora. Mary was the last surviving member of her immediate family.  She is survived by her son, Michael (Connie) Bobby; daughters, Mary Ann (Robert) Manioc; Patricia (Gerald) McGough; and Janice (Gregory) Smith, all of Northern Cambria; five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.  Mary was a life-long member of St. John Byzantine Catholic Church, Northern Cambria.  Devoted to her church and daily prayer, she raised her family guided by her trust in God, instilling the importance of a life lived according to the Faith.  A loving wife, mother and grandmother, she cherished her family and time with them was precious to her.  Friends will be received from 4:00 – 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria where Parastas will be recited at 4:30 p.m.  Panachida will begin at 9:45 a.m.  Wednesday at the funeral home followed by Funeral Liturgy at 10:30 a.m. at St. John Byzantine Church.  Fr. Edward Pyo celebrant.  Committal, St. John Byzantine Cemetery.
