KLAPAK, MARY 100, Northern Cambria, passed away March 14, 2021, at St. Mary’s Home of Erie. Born January 4, 1921, in Greenwich, the daughter of Michael and Regina Zultanky. Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, Stephen Klapak, who died in 1973; daughter Regina Kline; and grandsons, Stephen and Richard Kline. Survived by daughter, A. Marie (Donald) Papesch, Erie; son-in-law, Thomas Kline, Loretto; grandchildren, Thomas (Brenda) Kline, Parker, PA; Kevin Kline, Loretto; Cindi (James) Adkins, Idaho Falls, ID; and David (Sarah) Papesch, Erie; seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. Mary is also survived by several special people who helped her and cared for her in many ways, her neighbor, Joe Kirsch; niece, Patty and Jerry Wilson; and nephew, Jerry Papson. Mary retired after working 40 years at the Barnesboro Shirt Factory. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church, she was active for many years in the Holy Cross Ladies Aid Society and as a volunteer for many church activities. Member of VFW Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, and crocheting. Friends will be received from 3:00 – 7:00 p.m. Thursday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday at Holy Cross Chapel. Fr. Matthew Baum officiating. Committal, Holy Cross Cemetery.
