Mary F. Panek

PANEK, MARY FRANCES, 85, Elmora, passed away August 7, 2023, at HAIDA Healthcare Center, Hastings.  Born May 30, 1938, in Bakerton, the daughter of Valentine and Frances (Sponsky) Panek.  Preceded in death by parents; these siblings and their spouses, Coletta (George “Foster”) Nalisnick, Gervous (Dorothy) Panek, Vivian (Edwin) Andersen, Robert (Anita) Panek, Wanda (Ellis) Evans; and sister-in-law, Jessie Panek.  Survived by brother, Alfred “Kinger” Panek, Choctaw, OK, and several nieces and nephews.  Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown.  Family and friends are invited to a funeral mass which will be celebrated at 1:30 p.m.  Monday, August 14, 2023, at St. Benedict Church.  Fr. Michael Gabler, OSB, celebrant.  Committal, church cemetery.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
