Mary Jane Westrick

WESTRICK, MARY JANE, 85, Carrolltown, passed away October 2, 2023, at home.  Born January 9, 1938, in St. Benedict, the daughter of Peter and Ann (Kost) Pedick.  Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, Ned Westrick, who died June 28, 2020; son, Tom Westrick; brothers, Mike and George Pedick; and sisters, Helen Hennessey, Sue, Kay and Marge Pedick.  Survived by son, Dave, husband of Denise (McGowan), Arlington, VA; three grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren.  Sister of Nancy Farrell, Patton; Irene Arcuro, River Edge, NJ; and Pauline Polites, Carrolltown.  Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown, where she was an active volunteer at church events for many years.  Retired teller from US Bank having worked in the Carrolltown and Loretto offices.  Mary Jane was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who cherished time with family.  She also enjoyed playing bingo and trips to casinos.  Family and friends will be received from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, October 4, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, with Funeral Mass to  follow being celebrated at 10:00 a.m. at St. Benedict Church, Carrolltown.  Fr.
