Mary Katherine "Mimi" Dvorchak

DVORCHAK, MARY KATHERINE “Mimi”, 72, Hastings, passed away October 14, 2023, at HAIDA Healthcare & Rehabilitation Center.  Born July 24, 1951, in Spangler, the daughter of the late George E. Sr. MD and Katherine (Kollar) Dvorchak.  Preceded in death by parents and husband Francis Litzinger.  Survived by brothers, Dr. George E. Dvorchak, Jr. (Rosemarie), and Dr. Matthew J. Dvorchak (Lisa); nieces, Erin, Jessica, Alexandria, and Lauren; companion, Donald Litzinger; many friends; and her beloved pets Zitka and Munya.  Mimi worked initially in the Pittsburgh area for several years before returning home to work at the G.E. Dvorchak Sr. MD Memorial Clinic in Hastings.  Mimi was a member of several area social clubs and enjoyed traveling, with Walt Disney World a favorite destination.  Family and friends will be received from 2:00 – 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 18, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, where services will be held at 4:00 p.m.  Fr. Thaddeus Rettger, OSB, officiating.  Committal, St. Mary’s Cemetery, Patton.
