Melanie E. Roland

Roland, Melanie E., 63, Westover, passed away June 6, 2022.  Born June 6, 1960, the daughter of the late Rev. John and Nancy (Brosius) Dallape.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her loving husband, Ronald Roland who died January 6, 2022, and their dog, Jayden.  Survived by daughter, Caitlin Roland, Westover; brother, James (Tina) Dallape, Johnstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.   1978 Graduate of Ferndale High School and Johnstown Vo-Tech. Formerly employed by Harmony School District where she was also a volunteer and active in the Music Boosters.  Melanie was a devoted and loving wife and mother.  She enjoyed spending vacation time on family trips to Disney.  Melanie loved all animals, especially her dog, Belle.  She raised peacocks and enjoyed talking to others about them.  Family and friends will be received from 2:00 p.m. until time of service at 5:00 p.m. Monday, June 12, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Pastor Mark Brady officiating. Committal, East Ridge Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Harmony High School Alumni Association for scholarships.
