Michael R. Katchmer

 KATCHMER, MICHAEL R., 84, Northern Cambria, passed away August 28, 2020.  Born February 20, 1936, in Emeigh, the son of Joseph and Julia (Farkas) Katchmer.  Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Mary Nemec and Julie Buck; and brothers, Joseph Katchmer Jr. and John Katchmer.  Survived by loving wife of 57 years, Sandra (LaMagna) Katchmer; children, Michael Katchmer Jr., Northern Cambria; Joseph Katchmer, Indiana; Julie Katchmer, John Katchmer and Mary Beth Katchmer, all of Northern Cambria; and one grandson.  Retired after teaching 30 years in the Penns Manor School District.  Member of Slovak Club, Northern Cambria.   A private viewing and prayer service will be held for the Katchmer family.  Committal, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Cemetery.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., in charge of arrangements.
