Michael J. LaMagna, Jr.

LA MAGNA, MICHAEL J. JR., 59, Altoona, passed away October 3, 2024, at UPMC Altoona Hospital, after a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer.  Born March 11, 1965, in Spangler, the son of Michael J. La Magna Sr. and Carol (Snyder) Corle.  Preceded in death by an aunt, Sandra Katchmer.  Survived by his father, Michael Sr. and wife Debra LaMagna, Hollidaysburg; mother, Carol Corle, East Freedom; brother, Ralph D. (Tammy) LaMagna; sisters, Erin (Jay) Fagans, and Ashley Reed; nephew, Ben LaMagna and niece, Chelsea Lamagna; uncles, Ralph LaMagna Jr., Samuel (Melissa) Lamagna; and aunts, Sr. Linda LaMagna the family’s spiritual leader, and Susan Knapik (Will), and Mary Ann Watson (Ronnie).  Also survived by his very special friend, Betty J. Lynn, who was always there for Michael.  At the request of the deceased all services will be privately held for the LaMagna family.  Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Michael to the Central Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1837 East Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA  16602.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
