Michael J. Rieger

RIEGER, MICHAEL J., 69, Northern Cambria, passed away January 19, 2024.  Born October 24, 1954, in Spangler, the son of Leo and Irene (Paronish) Rieger.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother Ron and loving companion Delores.  Mike leaves behind siblings, Cathy Vanish, Dennis (Denise) and David (Diane).  His three girls, Michele (Josh), Renee (Jay), and Jennifer (Adam) along with six grandchildren, Chelsea, Justin, Derrick, Brayden, Joshua, and Addison.  A life-long resident of Northern Cambria.  In his younger years, Mike worked as a mechanic in the coal mine and spent his spare time hunting and fishing.  Later in life, he owned Mike’s Auto in Ebensburg.  When he wasn’t busy under the hood of a car, he loved spending time racing cars or making the rounds to see his many friends.  Honoring his request there will be no viewing or visitation.  A celebration of Life will be planned for a later date.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc.
