Michele Dawn (Thomas) Trusler

TRUSLER, MICHELE DAWN, 51, Indiana, formerly of Fairmont, West Virginia, passed away Sunday, July 6, 2025, at home.  Born July 16, 1973, in Claridon, Ohio, daughter of Michael Franklin Thomas and Yvonne Joyce (Sanders) Lane.  Preceded in death by father.  Survived by mother, Yvonne Joyce Lane and stepfather, Robert Lane, both of West Virginia.  Also survived by daughter, Kayla Boring; favorite granddaughter and best friend, Aleeah Boring; grandson, Jedidiah Boring Jr., and Angela Oswalt, who was like a daughter to her, all of Indiana.  Sister of, Kara Mitchell and Mary Jo Askew, both of West Virginia.  Michele had a big heart and was always willing to help others, even when she had little to give.  She loved Coca-Cola, watching true crime shows, shopping, and going out to eat, but most of all, she cherished every moment spent with her kids and grandkids.  Though she often said she was too young to be a grandma, she proudly embraced being called “Nonnie.”  Michele had a special love for comfort and was rarely seen without her favorite PJ’s, she owned hundreds of PJ sets with matching slippers and always preferred them over regular clothes.  Honoring Michele’s wishes, there will be no viewing.  Services will be held at the convenience of the family.  Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria, handling all arrangements.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
