Michele M. (Lapso) Zaliznock

ZALIZNOCK, MICHELE M.   59, St. Benedict, passed away February 5, 2026, at Conemaugh Memorial Hospital, Johnstown.  Born November 17, 1966, in Spangler, the daughter of Francis and Linda (Krug) Lapso, of Northern Cambria.  In addition to her parents, she is survived by loving husband of 39 years, Robert Zaliznock; sons, Robert M. Zaliznock III and Shawn M. Zaliznock, both of St. Benedict.  Sister of Michael Lapso, Northern Cambria; Marlene Trammel, Florence, SC; and Matthew Lapso, Clymer.   Michele worked as a caregiver for many years.  She had a deep faith in God and enjoyed attending many trips and events with Women of Valor.  She enjoyed camping with her family, spending time with her “fur-babies”, and adding to her lighthouse and doll collections.  Family and friends will be received from 3:00 p.m. until time of service at 7:00 p.m., Thursday, February 12, 2026, at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria.  Pastor Paul Demi officiating.
