BABIAK, MILDRED M., 95, Windber, formerly of Northern Cambria, passed away July 24, 2023, at Windber Woods. Born June 12, 1928, the daughter of Michael and Susan (Salley) Merise. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Andrew Babiak who died in 1974; daughter, Christine Barnosky; and sisters, Flora Hollewa and Mary Ross. Survived by daughter, Susan, husband of William Siska, Windber; two grandchildren and two great-grandchidren. Sister of Virginia Merise-Kalister, Northern Cambria. Formerly employed as a presser for the Barnesboro Shirt Company. Member of Prince of Peace Catholic Church. All services will be private for the Babiak family. Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
