Nancy Jane (Sleigh) Trinkley

TRINKLEY, NANCY JANE, 91, Northern Cambria, passed away January 10, 2025, in Rehoboth, Delaware.  Born December 20, 1933, in Spangler, the daughter of Samuel and Margaret P. (Jones) Sleigh.  Preceded in death by parents; husband, Russell E. Trinkley, who died March 17, 1971; brother, Alton Sleigh; sister Margaret "Sally" and her husband, Larry Bebee; and sisters-in-law, Dorothy Trinkley and Wilma Jean Evans.   Survived by sons, Dr. David R. Trinkley (Kevin Gianotto), Rehoboth, DE and Douglas E. (Diane) Trinkley, Northern Cambria; grandchildren, Douglas Trinkley (Krissy Hassen) and Karissa Trinkley, fiancé of Ryan Dupas; great-grandchildren, Kylie and Devon Trinkley; Lydia Dupas and Lyla Jane Dupas; also foster grandchildren Nyko and Raven Smith.   Also survived by brothers-in-law, Benjamin Trinkley, Indiana and Roger Evans, Duncansville; numerous nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.  Nancy retired from the Cambria County Conservation Office after serving 41 years.  She was a member of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church.  Nancy was a talented musician and served her own church family as well as the congregation of St. John’s United Methodist Church as the organist for many years.  She enjoyed crocheting, knitting, traveling, shopping and most of all loved spending time with her family and friends.  Family and friends are invited to a memorial service which will be held May 31, 2025 at 11:30 AM at St. Paul’s Presbyterian Church, Northern Cambria.  Pastor Marty Cartmell officiating.  Interment will be in North Barnesboro Cemetery.
