WESTRICK, NED R., 88, Carrolltown, passed away June 28, 2020, at home. Born January 31, 1932, in Spangler, the son of Maurus and Ethel (Bearer) Westrick. Preceded in death by parents; and son, Tom Westrick. Survived by loving wife of 60 years, Mary Jane (Pedick) Westrick; son, Dave Westrick, husband of Denise (McGowan), Virginia; three grandchildren, two step-grandchilden; and two great-grandchildren. Brother of Maurita Platt, St. Benedict; and Marge Semelsberger, Florida. US Navy Veteran of the Korean War and member of American Legion Post 506, Carrolltown and St. Benedeict VFW Post 7783. He was an active member of the military funeral honor guard. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church and Knights of Columbus. Retired owner of Westrick Pontiac in Carrolltown. Member of Carrolltown Businessmen’s Club. Ned was an avid golfer, enjoyed the outdoors, going to camp, hunting and fishing. A private funeral mass with military honors will be held for the Westrick Family. Interment, St. Benedict Cemetery. Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria in charge of arrangements.
