BOBAK, ODESSA VIOLA (Keith), 95, Duncansville, formerly of Nicktown, died at home surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 4, 2021. She was born in Greenwich to Elzie and Bertha (Lamar) Keith. She married John F. Bobak on December 28, 1946. Preceded in death by parents; her loving husband, John, who died October 27, 2010; daughter, Irene Leff; great-granddaughters, Erika and Angela Torres and great-great-grandson, Ryan Torres; and siblings, Joe, Don, Elmer, Elizabeth, Edna and Goldie. She is survived by children, Paul (Rose Ann) Bobak, NC; Regina Porter, CA; Judy (Richard) Stenberg, VA; Robert (Myesha) Bobak, GA; Connie (Michael) Bobby, N.Cambria; Nancy Wojno, Johnstown; Anna (Bill) James, Duncansville; Kenneth (Karen) Bobak, Ashville; Barbara (Jim) Garvey, Pleasant Gap; David (Regina) Bobak Hughesville; son-in-law, Al Leff ; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-greatgrandchildren. Also survived by her sisters, Sylvia, Arlene, and Patty (Harold). During her younger years, Odessa worked as a “Rosie” in a warplane production facility in Ohio. Together with her husband, John, the family operated a large dairy farm in Nicktown. She was a wonderful cook and baker, her delicious nut and poppyseed rolls, homemade apple butter, churned buttermilk and homemade ice cream were family favorites. She loved traveling with her husband to visit family; and especially loved sitting on the porch swing or going for walks. She even learned to “facetime” with her grandchildren. Family was the center of her life and time with them was always a priority. She was a member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown and the Altar & Rosary Society. She looked forward to working at the annual Nicktown Picnic each year. Presently a member of St. Catherine of Siena, Duncansville. Friends will be received from 2 – 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. Thursday at Moriconi Funeral Home, Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. Friday at St. Nicholas Church. Fr.
